MCC was born 100 years ago as people came together to care for others in crisis. Today, more people are displaced from their homes by drought, conflict and other disasters than ever before in our history. Compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the racial and other disparities unmasked by the crisis, this requires bold action. That’s where you come into the story.
Your New Hope centennial donation will touch the lives of people like Zenaba Abdoulaye and her daughter Maimouna Abdelkader, age 10. Forced from their home in the Central African Republic, they now live in a camp in southern Chad where MCC is providing latrines and clean drinking water.
Your generous support during MCC’s centennial year will bring life-saving resources and new opportunities to families and communities around the world. We know that in times of crisis, people who are most vulnerable often suffer the most. With your help, MCC is well positioned to respond. Please join us in planting New Hope during these uncertain times.
