About Planned Giving
Planned gifts, such as bequests or charitable trusts, can create faith-building opportunities for you to provide a future gift to charity.
What is "Planned Giving?"
Provide for you or your loved ones
- Entitle you to charitable income and/or gift or estate tax deductions
- Enable you to leave a legacy for MCC
Ways to Get Started
Meet with MCC Staff
Donor relations staff in MCC regional offices have many years of experience helping MCC alumni and friends align their own deeply held beliefs or priorities with MCC needs. They would be happy to help you explore how a planned gift to MCC might fit in your life plan or to speak with your financial or legal advisor. Contact your nearest MCC office to arrange a visit.
Consult a Financial Planner
Ask a financial planner or legal adviser to help you align your resources of cash and other assets with your personal values. Advisers can then match your wishes with your resources and the needs of MCC and/or other organizations you wish to partner with. An experienced financial counselor will help you determine how much and when to give to maximize your lifetime earnings and tax benefits. If gifts require ongoing administration MCC uses the services of a foundation.
